We love learning! Curiosity, questions, ponderings, ideas, and sometime absurd, impossible, outlandish ideas are such an integrul part of our lives!
we discuss ideas, question processes, troubleshoot, and adapt almost every day. To do this we use a vaiety of resources to increas our knowledge and understanding
of the various subject matters. Here are some general resources we utilize.
Books and more books! As helpful as the internet is and we do value our online resources we also
believe in the tangible resource of a printed book. Second hand books, new books, library discard
books...if it contains valuable information on any subject we're interested in or actively working on
then it's likely to find a home in our library.
Online resources such as The School of Traditional skills and various channels from other homesteaders have been a
huge help! I recommend finding a couple of trusted resources that align with your goals and stick to them. It's easy to get
caught up in research and learning and before you know it you're paralized from too much information and fail to do anything.
And prehaps our favorite resource is other people. We truly enjoy getting to know others in the community and learning from their first-hand experience
saves us a lot of trouble. Master Gardeners, second and third generation dairy farmers, other families a few years ahead of us in homesteading or homeschooling, these people
are a treasure and we'd be remiss if we didn't acknowledge their impratance in our own journey.
